If you close your eyes, you can almost smell those freshly steamed oysters spilling out onto the table in front of you.
The RFM is proud to announce our 22nd Annual Oyster Roast to be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 2 – 5 PM. on the museum grounds on Main Street in Reedville.
This important fund raiser, which supports the museum’s educational programming, features a menu of oysters – both cooked and raw-on-the-half-shell, along with bean soup, hot dogs, barbeque, clams, chicken wings, cheese, desserts, coffee and soft drinks. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. There will also be music and dancing.
Only 1,000 tickets are available to the Oyster Roast and interested individuals are strongly encouraged to order their tickets early. Beginning Monday, Oct 24th tickets may only be purchased in the Museum Office in person (using cash, check or credit card) or by phone using a credit card. Tickets sales will be available Monday- Friday, between 9:30-4:30. Phone 804-453-6529. Please do not mail in ticket requests. Only 1000 tickets will be sold.
