If you close your eyes, you can almost smell those freshly steamed oysters spilling out onto the table in front of you.

The RFM is proud to announce our 20th Annual Oyster Roast to be held Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 2 – 5 PM. on the museum grounds on Main Street in Reedville.

This important fund raiser, which supports the museum’s educational programming, features a menu of oysters – both cooked and raw-on-the-half-shell, along with bean soup, hot dogs, barbeque, clams, chicken wings, cheese, desserts, coffee and soft drinks. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. There will also be music and dancing.

Only 1,000 tickets are available to the Oyster Roast and interested individuals are strongly encouraged to order their tickets early. Advance tickets are $30 per person. Day-of-the-event tickets—if available—are $35 per person. Advance tickets can be purchased at the museum from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. For mail and/or phone orders using a credit card or personal check, please call the RFM at 804.453.6529 or via Email.  If ordering by mail, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
